Hi!
Simple question:
Is it possible to import in a 9.2.-db from a 8.1.6 and lower?
I' ve heared something, that it is necessary to upgrade the 8.1.6 to an 8.1.7.?

Hi,
Yes it is possible. You can export data from 8x and import it in 9x DB. The only thing which you should consider it just use export utility of your 8x DB and import utility of your 9x DB.
And what you heared that it is necessary to upgrade the 8.1.6 to an 8.1.7 is also true. It apply if you use Oracle Upgrade Assistant to upgrade your database from 8x to 9x. In export/import it is not required.
