Hi Guys,

init.ora:-

log_archive_dest = /u306/archive/dumps/INSPRD

log_archive_duplex_dest = /u406/archive/dumps/INSPRD

log_archive_min_succeed_dest = 1

At the moment the server is archiving to the two destinations. I want the duplex_dest to be optional and a failover only if the first destination fills. Can anyone help please? TIA

Oracle 8.1.7.4.0. Solaris 2.6. Any more info required please ask.
