Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a script already written somewhere, which I can schedule to run to scan the Oracle alert log each day, and if an error is found, send an email to specified DBAs ?

I have an Oracle Enterprise Management Server, so maybe I can use some built-in Oracle packages to do this?

Any input is much appreciated, thank you :)

Thank you Mahnesh for providing these links, but I forgot to mention that I need scripts to run on Windows 2000 Terminal server with Citrix Metaframe. Do you know if similar scripts exists somewhere?

Thank you in advance!
