Hi,

without having the dba role or permission is there any way to get the database size.

Hi,

Well to know the DB size only thing which u need is the privileges to access data dictionary. If u can access oracle's v$ views then it means u can get wht u want.

Moreover it is not necessary that to access v$ views one should have DBA rights. U can grant select privilege on these views to any user and that user would be able to access the views.

Finally if u can access those views, just go into the scripts section of this site to get a proper script to find out the DB size.
