Hi,

To find out the no of databases running in ur machine u can use services and registry. In service pannel u can chek the no of services available for diff databases and in registry u can scan :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREORACLE

The registry will show u the info abt diff homes if u r using and for each DB there would be separate entries.
