Hiya,
I need to buy a database mgt tool but don't know what one to buy. I've see advertised but no experience using such tools as Quest and BMC and Orange.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

If You are using 9i version then go for oracle's OEM its the best..!!!!

strongly agree with kishor.
there are tons of tools available ( open source and commercial licensed like dbArtisan).
OEM is the best. 
DBAstudio will do the simle stuff and more easy.
But to make use of OEM facilities ( job scheduling, export/import, capacity planning etc), you have configure it correctly.

TOAD ... works fine for me. Try out the free version (strip down version). Once you get the feel of it, you can go for the full blown product.

Use it along with OEM (and DBA Studio).
