Do I need to run any scripts after creating a new database in 9i (catalog & catproc)?

Hi,

Yes, you have to run catalog and catproc after
creation of database if you are creating database
manually and if you are creating by DBCA(Database
Configuration Asst.) then NO need to run scripts.
