I am having Windows NT 4.0 system at home. It does
not have Network Adapter Card.
I installed Oracle 8.0 Personal Edition.
But the service OracleTNSListener80 service does not start. What should I do ?
Can I install Oracle 8.0 Personal Edition, on a system
without network card ?

if there is no network card, you can do any kind of networking.
so, the system/database will be a standalone.
so, you dont need a listener at all.
you can access the database directly in the server using userName/password.
YOU cannot access it from a remote client or a client installed in another system.
