Hi

I am trying to install Oracle Application server into my machine....but it gives me an error ...saying that "...invalid database domain name.." Could you please let me know where am I going wrong?

hello,
did u select different Home for Application server....ensure that Database is Up and Running.. also make sure that u have given the Exact Domain name like sometimes u got to give sid.world.us.com etc .,

Check your host name in /etc/hosts . If missing add an entry there:

ip_address hostname.domainname.com alias
