Will there be any impact on the functionality, if the Oracle 9i Server/Client machine name is changed after installation/creation of Oracle database?

I can see some registry keys of Oracle with the host name.

If there is a document explaining the same, please let me know.

Yes defneatly it gives effect if u change the machine name. and if u want to over come with this problem to have to change the host name from the net8 assistance.
