I just bought oracle 8.16 client. I successfully installed in my PC running on Win98. It is a standalone PC. i cant use some features like database adminstration, it requires a username and password and server name and when i enter the name of my Pc it is invalid. Can this version of oracle run on stand alone pc? Please help.
