I would like to issue a select statement from within an Oracle PL-SQL procedure to grab data from a DB2 table. Is there any 'link' or such mechanism provided by Oracle or others to connect from PLSQL to a DB2 table? Or what other work-arounds are there in such a scenario when you require data from a second database to process data in the first?

IBM datajoiner
IBM Db2 Federated database
IBM Db2 Relational Connect
