Hi,
We are trying to install ORACLE 8.1.7 on SCO Unixware 7.1.1.
We have a 4 Disk system with RAID 5 Setup and each hdd is 18 GB.
We have 1 GB of RAM and itsa IBM eServer
We are always getting the following message
After executing the command,
$runInstaller
it gives
$Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/Components/Oracle.swd.jre/1.1.7/1/DataFiles/Expanded/jre/unixware/bin/jre.Please wait..
mapChunk: mmap failed: Insufficient or invalid memory
**Out of memory,exiting**.
$
Do anybody have any idea,Pl let us know we are in trouble
